The RF Team leavers shield.
Presented by Adrian on his departure from Aeroflex to the remaining RF Team members, though nobody really wanted to accept it. Names would be added until we had all gone. The final leaver would have the dubious honour of keeping the shield - and as far as I know it is now with Michel, the sole survivor after the departure of Bob W and myself. Congratulations Michel!
Airspan antenna, somewhere near Stratford-upon-Avon.
Now at Airspan, the scope of my work includes some outdoor activities, and WiMAX system integration work - but which antennas to use?
Decorating.
At least the house did benefit from my extra time at home between jobs. I put the ladder here so Mary could paint the stairwell...
Friends reunited.
Pleased to reunite with some college friends just after Christmas 2006. Jeremy (3rd from left) has visited the Middle East so often I swear he is turning into an Iraqi.
A special birthday.
The weather did dampen our plans somewhat as we were hit by an afternoon monsoon for Mary's 'special' birthday party, but we were delighted that so many family members and friends could join us and were prepared to wade through the car park.
Erica at rest.
Despite the passive exterior, Erica accomplished some serious challenges to qualify for her Gold D-of-E award, both in her practice expedition in Snowdonia and the 'real thing' in China. She is now awaiting the call to The Palace to meet the Duke.
Walking in Wales.
When not sailing, we managed some more conventional exercise with our sailing instructor. Last time we walked the Precipice Walk, Graham was about 2.
